In October of 2006 we participated in a "Curb Appeal" Redecorating show for the Home & Garden network. The house was owned by Craig and Michelle Chapman. One of Michelle's' concerns was that the 11'4" (136") window box (our largest to date by 4") was just too short or thin. She (being a very tall woman) aptly pointed out that a window box of the this magnitude just needed to be taller. We did extensive research and came up with a design that she thought would work well for her Window Boxes along with gates and a railing all made with aluminum. Since we enjoyed Mitchell's humor, family (Alex, Mia and Haley) and hospitality so much we decided to name this design after them.
